Judge Brandon Sall
Westchester County Surrogate Court Judge Brandon R. Sall was appointed to the bench by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and unanimously confirmed by the New York State Senate. This appointment came after a lengthy career specializing in trusts and estate administration, real estate law, litigation and transactional matters. Before his appointment, Judge Sall was the managing member of Sall, Geist, Schwarz and Jellinek, and partner at Gellert and Rodner. Prior to that he had been partner in a number of firms, as well as a sole practitioner and associate. Additionally, since 2002, he also served as general counsel to the Westchester County Public Administrator. Judge Sall has also been a lecturer on Estate Administration for the New York State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Program.
Judge Sall was named a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Thruway Authority, a Committee Member of the Mass Transit Task Force examining transit options for a new bridge to replace the Tappan Bridge and in 2012 he was named Chairman of the Selection Committee that reviewed bids and selected a contractor for the new Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing Project.
Judge Sall grew up in the City of Mount Vernon and graduated from the University of Miami and the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida, and is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and several sections and committees of the the New York State Bar Association. He and his family live in Harrison, NY.
